The Lakers Volleyball Club is offering a two-day camp to anyone that would like to get back into playing volleyball. The camp will allow players to go over basics and to play scrimmage games in order to get their game back and it will be held on Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th, at Ecole du Carrefour from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Cost for the two-day camp is $25.

If you are interested in attending the camp send an email with your name and phone number to Luc Potvin at admin@lakersvolleyball.org.  Everyone is welcome and we hope to see all of you on the court.

Please note – Day 1 Saturday is cancelled due to Hurricane Earl. The camp will still be held on Sunday and the cost reduced to $15 for one day.

The coaches attending the course need players to perform the drills assigned by the teaching staff. This is a great opportunity to be coached by various other coaches.

The program is geared towards girls and boys ranging from ages 8-12.  It is a modified version of the volleyball game intended to allow children to learn the skills while still having fun and experiencing success.  This program is ideal for any child who may want to play for their school or club in the future.  It is also great for any child looking to try the sport or even just to get out and be active.  The start date for the program is January 4th, 2010.
