After finishing with a winning record of 4 and 1 during the round robin matches, the Lakers went on to defeat the West Hants Wizards in two straight games in the finals to take the Gold medal.

The Lakers 16U team has shown that the team is strong, improving their standing at each tournament as the season progresses. The coaches and players have worked hard during the first half of the season, and trial and error has resulted in a first class team.  The coaches would also like to send a big thanks to their biggest fans, the parents, for their support, constant cheering and good humour at every tournament. It is always nice to see smiling parents on the sidelines.
